I started in journalism in 1990. Somewhere along the way, newspapers became websites, websites became social media, phones became computers and computers started writing.
I have spent much of that time trying to understand what those changes mean for communication, and how technology can make the work better without removing the judgement that makes it useful.
I moved to the UAE in 2003 and have worked across journalism, corporate communication, digital communication, executive communication and communications technology.
I like building things: websites, systems, content, projects and occasionally businesses. This site is where I keep some of that work, along with observations that do not need to become a strategy deck.
